Mohegan and Bally sign deal for iGaming platform

This week, Bally Technologies announced that they have reached an agreement for providing the iGaming platform to the Uncasville-based Mohegan Sun casino. This agreement will add to its increasing portfolio of online casino sites, where it has developed the platform for casino operators.

One of the officials from Bally said, “This partnership is going to demonstrate the benefits of an open iGaming Platform for a casino operator with a scope of allowing the best content.”

This agreement is going to allow Mohegan Sun to provide free poker online in both Pennsylvania and Connecticut. This will be a good boost to their position, once the online wagering regulations are in place. The selection of Bally Technologies, leader in slots and video machines, was done following a 6-month period of review process by the officials of Mohegan Sun.

CEO of Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, Mitchell Etess, “We are thrilled for being able to get our partnership with Bally Technologies on track. Our goal has always been to offer the guests at our casino with some of the best entertainment and gaming offerings. We believe that the iGaming Platform from Bally is going to be the next step of fulfilling the demands of our customers, who will be a part of our network once the gaming regulations are in place. Furthermore, we believe that our agreement is going to mix more excitement in our online casino. Thus, there may be addition of new players, who will not only be a part of the online world, but might visit our property to experience what we have on offer as well.”
